It says I need TOS-PC 5.0.19, but the dowload for Ubuntu says 5.0.15. What should I do? I don't have a working Windows or Mac system.
You keep giving me breadcrumbs instead of answers.
Reinstalling TOS on F4-220
Re: Reinstalling TOS on F4-220
Ping. I really need to get this resolved.
Re: Reinstalling TOS on F4-220
Sorry, let's summarize your current situation and the system version you are currently using.
The first issue is that if you need to update to version 5.0.176, your pre update version needs to be 4.2.32 or higher.
The second issue is that according to the instructions for reinstalling the system, the installation guide mentions TNAS PC 5.0.19 for Windows. You mentioned that you currently only have the Ubuntu system, and the latest version of Ubuntu is only 5.0.15.
TNAS PC only assists in obtaining NAS IP addresses during system installation, and version 5.0.15 may only have some incompatible features within TNAS PC, which have little impact on searching for IP addresses. If you have an additional monitor, you can also connect it to the NAS HDMI interface. After starting the NAS disk, you can find the NAS IP address in the output content of the monitor.
Then, you can enter the installation boot process by accessing the IP address through a browser.
