Remove nvme drive from storage pool

Post by tmpark »

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help, I added the above drive, and it appears to have been included in the storage pool. I'd like to remove it, and use it as hyper cache. Any thoughts on how to achieve this?

Thanks!

Here is how I did it. There are probably faster ways, but I am new to TOS so I did it in a logical way to me.
I removed the volume that based on my NMVEs (Raid1).
Then I wiped both disks.
After this I was able to go to Hyper Cache and create one by attaching it to the volume that was still there (based on SATA disks, RAID5).

Cheers
