System configurazion Don’t mean data , there is any metod to read the data ? To restore it ?TMeric wrote: ↑03 Jan 2025, 18:51
TOS6 adopts a completely new root file system, so upgrading from TOS5 to TOS6 will erase all system configurations.
Re: TOS 6.0.530 Official Version Released
Why don't you raise your case as a separate thread rather than mix it up with a (now outdated) thread about a specific update version.
It is quite possible that re-installing the TOS system is what is needed IF the data has not been damaged by changes.

Check if the storage pool array is degraded and if the hard disk has fallen out or is faulty. If the storage pool array is degraded, you can try to repair the array.

Re: TOS 6.0.530 Official Version Released
Is there / will there be an upgrade path from TOS 5 to TOS 6 for F5-221 users? This Official Release providing path from 5 to 6 says not compatible with F5-221.
I purchased my F5-221 over two years ago with the promise of a fully functioning TerraSync (cloud) feature over the internet. Now it seems this may not happen and I am stuck with TOS 5.1.145

You can now review the warning in this post's update instructions, and if your TNAS meets the requirements, you can now update TOS 6.titan5 wrote: ↑09 Jan 2025, 08:37 Is there / will there be an upgrade path from TOS 5 to TOS 6 for F5-221 users? Re: TOS 6.0.530 Official Version Released
Sorry but this is very confusing messaging! Why has F2-422 been moved from available soon to not compatible?
Whilst updating several other devices recently, I inadvertently included my F2-422 and it updated without any issues or warnings. Is this device now likely to be unstable?

Re: TOS 6.0.530 Official Version Released
Sorry! Maybe I've misread the notice? Is it only pre 2020 releases of the F2-422 that are incompatible?
Re: TOS 6.0.530 Official Version Released
Yes, you can also go to the update module of the TOS control panel to check the BIOS version of your TNAS and send it to us for confirmation.CraftyClown wrote: ↑09 Jan 2025, 16:34 Sorry! Maybe I've misread the notice? Is it only pre 2020 releases of the F2-422 that are incompatible?
