Multimedia Server no client image previews

Post by rvescovi »

Hi,

I have an issue on TOS 6 after enabling Multimedia Server, my client TV or client like VLC correctly discover the NAS but the client is not showing any preview for the images and videos. My expectation was that after I select any remote folder I receive the low quality pictures so I can select based on the image presented.

Is the Multimedia Server usable for that scope?

Thanks.

You can find the "Media Index" feature in the "Network Services" section of the control panel. Please enable this feature and add the relevant media folders to the index directory.

Yes, all was already enabled in "Media Index" because it works in TerraPhotos with selected folders for images and videos but none of the thumbnails are visible when using DLNA. I can remotely choose a photo from the TV only for its name.
