Hi
I'm gonna to set backuping my TNAS data to the S3 cloud with encryption service enabled.
But CloudSync shows a tip "The encrypted data can only be unencrypted in your TNAS device".
Is there any hardware UID/SN dependences or it just means that only CloudSync started on any TNAS device with proper encryption key will be able to unencrypt my data?
The main idea to store encrypted data in the cloud is to be able restore the data after any fatal issue with exactly my TNAS device.
Unencryption procedure
Re: Unencryption procedure
Encrypted files can only be decrypted for download through the CloudSync application in the TNAS device with the correct encryption secret key.razob wrote: ↑04 Dec 2024, 02:00 Hi
