I note the comment from @TMeric. Upon investigation I noted 2 points:

1. The cpu (N95) is only rated for 16GB of ram. How can a 32GB ram module work effectively. Or .. is the 32GB there to assist Hypercache and split with the CPU constraints?
2. The shipped ram module actually has TM branded chips. Do the after-sales modules also have TM branded chips? What is so special?
F5-221 TOS7.0.0777 - 4x4TB (Ironwolf) Traid
F2-424 TOS7.0.0777 - 2x500GB nvme (P3) Traid, 2x6TB HDD (HGST) Traid
F2-221 TOS7.0.0777 - 1x3TB Ext4, 1x4TB Btrfs
F2-425+ TOS7.0.0777 - 2x500GB nvme (P3) Traid, 2x6TB HDD (EXOS) Traid

Max is 48GB SO-DIMM module, and it will work.
Intel only tests with 16GB Modules, but in reality, it works with up to 2TB of RAM.
The F4-424 has only one SO-DIMM slot, so the max is 48GB.
I would stick with the 32GB modules, because they are cheap to get.

I try with a terramaster branded ram 32GB for my F4-424 and the nas doesn't boot up, there's really a limit of 32GB on the t4-424?

I replace with the stock 8Gb and everythings run fine.

I have 2 dimms installed, 8GB + 32GB - all works fine

Crucial (Micron) is one of the best OEM for RAM - i have only good experience for the compatibility, Warranty is great too, and they last almost forever!

The 32GB SODIMM should work great with it.

I have a 16GB SODIMM with my F4-424 Pro, TerraMaster branded, and im looking to upgrade with the same Crucial SODIMM as you,
but i will wait for a discount, because it was not on discount for the Black Friday week on Amazon, and is still about 90€.
