Deleted Files Not Freeing Up Space on F4-423 NAS – Need Help

Post by batiste2 »

Hello everyone,

I’m using a F4-423 NAS with my Mac, and I’m having an issue with storage space. I recently deleted several gigabytes of files directly from my desktop, but I’ve only regained a small amount of space on the NAS. I’ve checked that there are no files in my Trash on Mac, and I haven’t found any sort of recycle bin on the NAS itself that might be holding the deleted files.

Does anyone know what steps I can take to fully delete these files and free up the space on the NAS? I’d appreciate any guidance or suggestions. Thank you in advance!
