VirtualBox windows guest Slow download speed from LAN and internet

sorted out my disk performance issues by switching off from sata controller to a SAS controller. however now i go down the further testing, and im seeing that the download speed from the guests perspective to the internet or to the nas / lan resources i almost nothing, upload speed appears un effected.

I have tried both intel adaptors, i am in a bridged configuration as the guest will need a proper internet connection with port forwarding rules etc...
i have also with paravirtualzation in acceleration to none and hyperv, this did not make a impact

also windows will also just give up and declare there is no internet connection, and the gateway as well as the nas will no longer responded to ping despite a IP present in ipconfig

iperf between the nas and the guess, upload to the nas is the expected speed. download is almost nothing

if i switch out of bridge mode into nat mode my iperf performance improves, however a nated space for the guests is not a workable soultion as i need these guests to not be isolated and to be on the same network as my other resources

found a work around, downloaded the iso for para virtual and switched the nic back to bridged but with the para virto network. installed the driver and that is yielding proper performance V the intel not hardly working



i hope my testing is not going into a echo chamber and someone is reading and trying to repo/bug etc...
