How to give private space to users?

Post by TariqNas »

To make it simple, I want to give my family member users with storage quota and private space to each one. How do I do that ? When I try to create a volume or space, I see that all other user can view it but without content, my point is to give them their own cloud and private space, how to ? I use terramaster F6 424 MAX

Each user gets a 'home' folder allocated with their login. (These can be enabled/disabled for viewing). Typically /Volume1/homes/{login}.

If you want anything else create a shared folder for each with unique permissions for that user.

I don't see a home folder for any user. I only see the folder I created to the user and nothing else. How they can create their own folders and make them private / personal ?
