Hi all,
I have a T4-424 pro and I can't seem to get the TNAS mobile 3 app running in the background to enable automated phone backups. It will backup when I have the app open, but pretty much as soon as I close the app or lock the phone it stops.
I've followed the advice on the forum here to ensure that background activity is allowed in the battery settings.
I have a OnePlus 11 running android CPH2449_14.0.0.830(EX01).
TNAS mobile 3 version is V3.2.47
TOS V5.1.145
What am I missing here?

Check and verify the battery settings:
Make sure you have allowed background activity of TNAS mobile 3 apps in your phone's battery settings. This is usually located in your phone's "Settings" -> "Battery" -> "Battery optimization" or "App power management ". Find the TNAS mobile 3 app and set it to "Unlimited" or "Unrestricted" to ensure it can run properly in the background.
Check app permissions:
Make sure that the TNAS mobile 3 app has been granted all the necessary permissions, especially those related to storage and background operation. You can find the TNAS mobile 3 app in "Settings" -> "App Management" or "Apps & Notifications" on your phone and check its permission settings.
Check the application settings:
In the TNAS mobile 3 application, check if there are setting options regarding automatic backup. Make sure that these settings are configured correctly and that the automatic backup feature is enabled.
Try to log back in:
Re-logging into the TNAS mobile 3 app can resolve some synchronization and backup issues. Try logging out of your current account and then logging back in.

Many thanks for the tips. I had already given the app appropriate permissions and ensured the battery activity was unrestricted. And automatic backup had been enabled in the TNAS app. So I then deleted the app and set it up again. Sadly this didn't help either.
Any ideas on what else can I try?

Perhaps you can consult your cell phone manufacturer to learn the specific controls for background running.

It is an Apple limitation. I use Carbon Copy Cloner to do the same backups and they said it is an Apple limitation. The app must stay open to backup photos. So it is highly likely nothing Terramaster can do to change this feature.
