DAS plugged into NAS issues & volumes disappearing

Hello, hoping someone can help me here.

I have an F2-424 (2 bay) NAS and a D4-300 DAS (4 bay). I currently have the DAS plugged into my NAS via the Type-C port. I did this because I want all of my drives accessible but I don't want to keep my main tower running 24/7. I've had the DAS for awhile but I am brand new to owning the NAS and I'm running into a few issues.

How do I prevent the drives in the DAS from going to sleep?
My NAS will hang for minutes on end when trying to access any of the USB shares because the hard drives go to sleep after just a few minutes. I've already turned off Hard Drive Sleep in the settings on the NAS side but it seems to have zero affect on the DAS.

How do I map the USB shares to a different folder?
When the DAS is running perfectly, they all show up as usbshare2, usbshare4, usbshare6, and usbshare8. Is there anyway I can changing the mounting point? Preferably to a folder within a different volume if possible?

e.g. Volume1/public/hdd1, Volume1/public/hdd2, etc...

How do I setup auto mounting for USB devices?
Related to the above question, every so often, the drives from the DAS will get unmounted and the usbshares are inaccessible even though the DAS is still plugged in and powered on. Is there a script or task I can setup to check and make sure they are mounted and if not, re-mount them?

Why do my volumes disappear in my NAS?
I have my NAS setup with 2 nVMEs for the system (RAID), then I have 2x 18TB drives setup as single disks (no RAID) with separate volumes. Volume's 2 & 3 (the HDDs) will just straight up disappear and then I can't access any of the files, I then have to re-create the storage pools and volumes and lose all of my data on both disks. (Not a huge issue right now as I haven't been storing anything that's not already backed up but I'd really like to fix this). Other times this happens, the NAS doesn't even show that the hard drives are plugged in yet the physical lights on the NAS are light up. These are brand new Seagate Exos x20 drives and show up healthy in Crystal Disk Info and Windows is properly showing all partitions in Partition Manager when I plug it into my PC.

Thanks in advance to anyone able to help out. I've been running my DAS for awhile but I'm extremely new to the NAS side of things. I just got my F2-424 a couple of weeks ago and I really want to get it setup.

What is the TOS version are you using?
Regarding your mention of not being able to stop the DAS disk from hibernating, we need to verify this.
If you want to mount usbshare under public share, you can try to go to Control Panel>Access Privileges>Remote Folders to Mount to Other Directory.
Regarding your comment about Volume2 and Volume3 disappearing, you can try to go to Technical Support>Feedback Issues and collect a copy of the System Information Zip and send it to our tech support email to check. However, since you recreated the storage pools and volumes, it is less likely to see the exact cause.

Regarding your comment about Volume2 and Volume3 disappearing, you can try to go to Technical Support>Feedback Issues and collect a copy of the System Information Zip and send it to our tech support email to check. However, since you recreated the storage pools and volumes, it is less likely to see the exact cause.
I'll keep this in mind next time it happens, its already happened a few times over the past few weeks so if it does happen again I'll send in a report.

How do I verify this? Both the NAS and DAS are on my desk. I can personally verify it because I can here the disks spin up when I try to access them after its been awhile.
