D8Hybrid reports the same SN for all NVMe drives

As the title sez. I hooked up my D8 Hybrid to a Truenas system (oh horror), and Truenas wouldn't allow me to use the NVMe drives because they all reported with a single serial number.
I then connected the D8 Hybrid to my mac mini, looked at the system report usb details, and indeed, all the NVMe drives report the same SN. All though there is a mixture of drives, they all report as:
Product ID: 0x9210
Vendor ID: 0x0bda (Realtek Semiconductor Corp.)
Version: f1.00
Serial Number: 1208231228097
Speed: Up to 5 Gb/s
Manufacturer: TerraMaster

The NVMes are a mixture of Lexar and Samsung.
So, is this fixable? Or am I hosed for using it as an adjunct to the Truenas.

We are currently optimizing the SN issue and expect to support the ZFS file system in one to two weeks. Additionally, the device has a bandwidth of 10G, and the 5G displayed may be due to a USB connection issue.

after fixing all my driver issues with the D6-320 under Linux, i bought a D8Hybrid.

following issues:

under Proxmox HDD Ports with ZFS Raid is working but not as stable as the D6-320

smart is not working - is USB Bridge supported ? smartctl 7.3 2022-02-28 r5338

NVMe is unusable under Proxmox with ZFS with AMD. suspended IO / File corruption
I bought a N100 Nas Board . less problems but not stable. only one NVMe is working . if more are installed - less stable.
tested with UAS and USB Storage driver

smart reports very high count of powercycles

Facing the same issue regarding the SN. udev rules assign the SN of the USB controller which makes it unable to correctly mount more than one drive by by-id. Do you have any fix ?

At the moment the enclosure is not usable in this state. The SN should be presented to the host.

IO or file interruptions when the D8Hybrid device is connected to the N100 Nas host may be due to a bad signal from the USB port of the N100 Nas host. We recommend that you try adding a USB_HUB docking station to bridge the connection.

i have also tested 10gb ports of HP zen workstation notebook , Asrcock Deskmeet and Deskmin X300. I know the cableproblems with USB3.2.
In the Asrock the rear USBs are connected to an Genesys Logic Hub internally.

What should i buy to increase the stability ? Active USB3.2 Cable ? USB Hub with Powersupply or without ?

i dont think this will the solution because ugreen USB-NVME Adater, Orioco NVMe ( both are using RTL9210B) and Samsung T7 running with ZFS at these ports.

Which Firmware Base of the rtl9210 is the D8-Hybrid running ?

Apparently they straight up refuse to give the flashing tools and the firmware and want you to make an appointment. I really regret buying this hardware now
