Terramaster and nut server on other machine with proxmox

Hello, im planning to use ups with my terramaster nas and other machine running proxmox. Other machine is running 24/7.
Should I setup but server on proxmox machine and then use it as target with SNMP ups client on TNAS?
I have f4 424

I'm guessing you would have to setup nut server on proxmox running in snmp mode and then apply the appropriate configuration to the nas in the ups dialogue. Not seen any guides on TM.
