Delete Encrypted Folder

Post by tosti01 »

I created a shared folder (TOS 5.1.202) and added encryption by mistake. I now want to delete this folder, but the delete icon is grayed out in the web interface at Control Panel > Privileges > Shared Folder. It seems to be available only for non-encypted folders. Is there any way to delete an encrypted folder? I never added any files to this folder, it's just a shell, and it's called "timeMachineAir" if that is important. Thanks!

Hello, you need to uninstall the encrypted folder before you can delete it.

Thanks. I think you mean "Unmount". I went to Control Panel > Privileges > Shared Folder > {highlight folder to delete} More (three dots) > Unmount. That caused the delete icon to become available.
