I couldn't update via the web interface, but I managed to do it manually. The fans have not turned off completely yet, I hope they have fixed this

Be careful what you wish for. I suspect that if the fans are turned off completely there is a serious risk of overheating.

6.0.461 Is out. Don't see anything different from .460 on the what's new list.

Why is the F5-221 still showing as compatible with TOS 6? I had upgraded and ran into some problems and was told by support that my motherboard is not compatible with TOS 6. It was pointed out that I could tell by all the lights being red on the TNAS. I had to go through an arduous process to restore back to the current level of TOS 5.

I don't want to see others have to go through what I went through.

No one from Terramaster going to answer this?

Due to hardware limitations, some older models are unable to update to TOS 6. Users of these models are advised not to attempt the update to TOS 6. The specific models include: F2-220, F4-220, F2-420, F4-420, F5-420, as well as the 221 series with a manufacturing date in Jun 2020 or earlier, which includes: F2-221, F2-421, F4-221, F5-221, F5-421.

Thanks, I now see the red warning at the bottom. Probably should have that warning at the top so people don't read the list of supported models and see theirs listed without seeing the warning about some of the models listed being dependent on year of make.

Having it up front is the most transparent way to make sure people see that.

Also, when 6 goes public you will need to ensure that this issue highlighted to the general public.

When enabled, you can try to select the network interface again.

I'm not sure what that is going to achieve. The fact is, the Multimedia Server (along with other apps) is continually being disabled within TOS. I shut down this nas frequently, especially overnight, and I should not need to go through every app, every time I start it, to see if something is still working.
Sometimes it can not be re-enabled in the GUI. And, before you say anything, it's not just me (NB: This is not something I need. This is Beta testing to show you guys what is broken and what needs to be fixed. This sort of thing is being reported to you, but it seems like either it is being ignored or no-one in the @TM back rooms knows how to, or can be bothered to, fix it. And, on the subject of reporting, hiding behind a virtually unresponsive email address for bug reporting makes you chaps look bad. We did that, then we were told the forum was the correct place to report, now it's back to the email and (sic) "don't tell the public", Really )

After upgrading to TOS 6.0.461, an unexpected thing happened. I just couldn't connect to my NAS this morning, TNAS PC didn't see it online either. I couldn't connect via SSH either. The nas also did not respond to a single press of the shutdown button, it had to be turned off with a long press, which led to a malfunction and re-indexing of the raid array. Moreover, there is nothing in the logs at all
