Hello...
Yes, the logs provided should have had an instance of the raids syncing... but I had done this procedure with only the NVMe installed, so no HDDs on the 4 bays. Probably this happened before I decided to format the USB boot drive and try again from scratch...
The UPS I am using is compatible.. it's the APC Back-UPS ES 750 listed in your website. Just for kicks I turned off the NAS a couple of days ago, tested the UPS by itself, connected only the NAS again with the usb of the ups plugged, and a couple of seconds after I turned the NAS on, it turned off again... I don't really want to repeat this with the 4x HDDs inserted as I don't want to corrupt my data...
I will try to get my hands on another UPS (also compatible), turn off the nas, disconnect the 4HDDs and try again... hopefully I don't loose my data. I have a backup of it... but the problem is that's almost 22TB, and it takes a looong time to put it back on the NAS...
any other suggestions?

Have you tried the UPS on a desktop system and the APC Powerchute software? I'm wondering if the USB cable is defective ....
