F2-212 - disk in second bay not recognized

Post by LeG10n »

I purchased the F2-212 in question on February 16th. I created a T-RAID with 2 500GB drives and had no problems for a few months. Last week, I received an alert regarding an issue with the RAID (the drive in the second bay is no longer detected). I thought the drive was faulty and bought a new one. The new drive is not detected, and I realized that the drives are correctly detected and functioning if installed in the first bay, but do not work if inserted in the second bay. I have come to the probable conclusion that the second bay is damaged... This makes the NAS unusable. If I had the device for 9-10 years, I could understand, but after 4-5 months of use, this situation seems absurd.
Is there anything i can try?
I hope you can help me!
