So i have just upgraded to a new PC, and since the new build, the D5-300 i have, the HDDs seem to be constantly being accessed despite the system not being used.
I have checked everything i can on the PC and nothing is accessing the drives (thought it might be indexing), but there is nothing.
Would would cause the LEDs to show constant access despite nothing accessing the drives, I am used to them being idle 99% of the time and the blinking only happening when access is happening, just want to make sure the life is extended as much as possible.
Any suggestions I will take and action.
Thanks

Re: LED Constant Access Blinking
The D5-300 product currently does not support hard disk sleep function.
The D2-310, D2 Clone, D4-300, D4-310, D5-300C, D2 Thunderbolt 3, D2 Thunderbolt 3 Plus, D4 Thunderbolt 3, and D5 Thunderbolt 3 models all support hard drive hibernation. Where no operations occur within 30 minutes, the hard drive will enter hibernation automatically.
The D5-300, D16 Thunderbolt3, and F4-300 models do not support hard drive hibernation at this time.

Re: LED Constant Access Blinking
Hi There,
It appears i have the C version, apologies, didn't realise.
Can you advise on how to enable the hibernation on this, as i said, it used to work before migrating to a new PC.
Thanks
Aaron
