Can't save to Mapped Drive

Post by titan5 »

Hello Forum,

I have setup my F5-221 as a mapped drive and it is visible and available via Windows File Manager on my desktop.
I am trying to setup the standard Windows folders on the NAS: Docs/Pics/Downloads etc and use the mapped drive and folders as the default locations in Windows.

I can open files off the NAS but anytime I try to save files to the mapped NAS folders it fails and I get errors like: "Not Enough Quota is Available to Process this command." There is a similar error for another attempt to save.

There are no storage quotas define on the NAS.
Sometimes the mapped drive seems to time out in Win File Manager and if I tried to connect in File Manager is says "working on it"

Suggestions?

We have not reproduced the situation you mentioned and can only guess that it could be a setting issue on Windows. You can try to adjust the possible settings on Windows or try another PC.
We will keep an eye on the situation you mentioned.
If you think it's a NAS problem, please generate and download the log report in TOS > Technical Support > Report Issues, and then send it to our support mailbox for inspection.
