OneDrive sync failing

Post by AndyB »

I've got a F2-210 with the latest OS. I have three OneDrive syncs set up - all using the same connection to the same account. One for music, one for home video, one for photographs.

I've realised that quite often, the sync isn't working. I added some music a few days ago, but the logs show the last attempt to sync anything was back in April.

So, as I've had to do a few times before, I've deleted the tasks, deleted the connection, cleared my browser cache and set them up again.

Or at least, tried to set them up again. After adding the first two sync tasks, when I try and set up the third one, I can't select the cloud directory folder. The only option I see is "Root Folder". And on the Overview screen, although it shows as Connected, the storage space doesn't show any information other than dashes. And, of course, other than an initial few seconds of disk activity, nothing is syncing.

This isn't the only time this has happened, and judging by the information on Google, it's a pretty regular thing.

It's just another fault that gives me little faith in this NAS. Is anyone actively looking to fix these issues anymore?

We investigated and found that the issue was due to Rclone. We need to wait for them to fix it.

Regarding this issue with the F2-210, we can't give an accurate guess based on what we know so far.
Maybe you can try to free up the extra RAM, or try to reboot the F2-210?

Thanks for the suggestions so far. The uptime on the NAS is less than a week, and I have the fix in place to restart the msgcenter process. Current RAM usage is around 52%, so that seems okay.

I understand the comment about waiting for Terramaster to fix this, but seeing as there's been only 1 update in the last 12 months (and the only detail about the update was that it fixes a security vulnerability) and that update didn't seem to fix many of the acknowledged problems with the F*-210 devices, I have a very low expectation of this happening :(

Hi, for me it seems to be fixed after this weekend. It works again for me.
