I've just ordered an F4-424 with some IronWolf Pro HDDs, but was planning on using some smaller capacity SSDs (SATA) that I have for read/write cacheing
Does anyone know whether the M.2 socket supports *both* NVMe *and* SATA interface SSDs? i.e. does the socket accept M.2. SSDs with both "M" and "B" keys?
Any idea if there would be any noticeable difference between a SATA and NVMe SSD given that both should have throughput that exceeds the 2.5GbE network maximum?
Thanks!
Does the F4-424 support M.2 SATA SSDs for cache?

It is M.2 2280 NVMe Slot, it supports MVNe M.2 SSD, only M key.
Considering only the network interfaces, both SATA and NVMe are superior to 2.5GbE.
