RAID 1 to Raid 5

HI there.

I'm just about to stick 2 X 16TB in my new F4-423 and will expand it to 4 x 16TB in a few months or so. I will start with Raid 1 for security but ultimately will want R5 I think. If I buy a third 16TB can I add this and change to R5?. Also, can I add the fourth disc later again and the R5 will work as expected?. Basically I currently cannot afford to buy another 2 16TB drives so want to add the third and fourth over time.

Yes you can migration RAID1 to RAID5 first with one added new drive:

When you get the forth drive, you can added to RAID5 to expand the capacity:
