Issue with HDHomerun Not Showing on Plex Media Server

I have just received a FS423 NAS and was excited to set up Plex as a media server, however I cannot get the HDHomerun - this model

To connect via the app store Plex which offers HW transcoding

Steps taken to resolve:

Rebooted NAS, Rebooted Homerun, Installed Latest Tos (5.1.40), Tried the version of Plex on the app store and the version of plex downloadable from Plex site which is the latest version, allowed in firewall port 60051 which the homerun uses[/list]

None of this allows the home run to show up. As a last resort I installed Plex via docker linuxserver.io/plex set up the server and it shows up straight away



This makes me believe that something on either Tos, or the Plex app versions, has an issue preventing the HDhomerun to work.

Please, can you look into and resolve or allow us to get HW transcoding back on docker for Plex.

For users - I keep hearing of problems with Tos5 - HW transcoding, this - Shall I just use Tos4 and be done with it? I like to one and done set up my NAS and this doesn't really fill me with confidence. If Tos 4 works but is less pretty, I will just use that

Is hardware transcoding normal when you use PLEX to play video on your browser?
This may require checking the network settings of PLEX, and we will try to check it.
You can also provide official feedback to PLEX.This application is being maintained by PLEX official.

I managed to get this resolved by removing the plex in shared folers
Removing the plex user manually
Reinstalling latest version from plex site

Transcoding is also working as well
