Recieved the message below for the NAS and updated the NAS.
There is a new TOS version available for update! Current version: 5.1.33, new version: 5.1.40
------------------------------------------------------------
Device name: Terramaster
Model: F5-422
TOS version: TOS_X642.0_5.1.33
TNAS System Notification
https://www.terra-master.com/support/
Update appeared to go through its normal process last night (16/07 around 11pm).
The NAS had its own IP address. System appered to go through an update which took less than half an hour. After reboot the IP address gave the Please Wait screen when you tried to log in. Kept trying and left till following morning.
This morning, there was no response when I tried to use the ip address I use to login. Following with Problem Loading Page.
Nothing listed under its IP address under arp -a. Could see the device attached under the router. Still couldnt log in. Rebooted router. No success. Switched off TNAS via front switch and and then pressed to switch on.
TNAS PC application reported two ip addresses for the TNAS. About ten minutes later there was only 1 IP address. None of them relate to the original IP address. And typing this into the browser doesnt gain access to the login landing page for the NAS. And no access to shares set up as mapped drives in Windows 10 Pro.
Note, after typing the above, there are now two ip addresses associated with the NAS. MAkes sense as there is a cable in both the 10Gbe port and the top LAN port.
Status currently showing as unitialised.
This is now 12 hours afterwards.
I am looking for support to get the NAS back to where it should be. And with the correct ip address.
Using the change IP address option in TNAS PC application isnt successful in applying the change.

Remove the ethernet cable from 10Gbe port. Try and log in using the single ip for the 1Gbe port.
Not saying it will work, but I have heard rumour about ability to update over 10Gbe. Do you have a 10Gbe network? Is there a purpose in your system to having both connected?

Using the IP address that NAS has now given itself, rather than the one assigned to it. The message appears
No Hard Drive Detected. Please install hard drive(S) and try again.
Then screen refreshes to say
Initialization
TNAS
192.168.1.104
ONly one LAN port can be connected during initialization!
Please keep yoru TNAS device connected to the internet. Otherwise you canniot install TOS online. You will need to
down load the TOS installation package from Terramaster;s official website and install it manually.
Start (encapsulated as a blue button)
J3455_MAPL0304V22_V5.1.44
NB.
I am concerned that continuing this process will flatten all the data that is on the hard drives.

Should have mentioned. The NAS unit has 5 x 16TB hard drives. I believe about 9TB currently in use.

If your hard drive has previously installed TOS 4 and the system partition does not meet the update conditions, this situation may occur for you,

You have encountered this situation and need to reinstall the system.
