Hello
I have had a broken f5-221 on which I had drives setup. They do contain data.
I got a brand new, uninitialized f5-221 in which I want to put my previous drives back (i promptly wrote down in which order they were located in the bays)
What is the proper workflow to do so without risking loosing data ?
Please note, out of precaution I thought it would be smart to make sure the new f5-221 has the same (or more recent) TOS version but when I plug it empty and load the OS, it doesn't display TOS version (any way to know it ?) nor allows TOS version upgrade because it asks to insert disks.
Thanks

Please turn off your new device, then insert the old hard disk into the new device and turn it on, use TNAS PC to search the IP of the device, and then you can use the previous system.
