The media index was being rebuilt. It didn't help.MDvP wrote: ↑08 May 2023, 15:27 Tested again to update F4-220 from 5.1.33 to 5.1.34, now it works. This time a did not wait the 5 min countdown, close the browser and wait a hour before accessing the TNAS. Maybe a bad timing that the 5 min restart ends up in bootloader.
@kg223: Try to rebuild the media index.

Re: TOS 5.1.34 (X86) is Released for update
I got the blank web page for a few hours after upgrading to 5.1.33 but I lost entirely lost the webpage and the file shares after going to 5.1.34.
I've had to do the custom re-initialisation (Method 2 of viewtopic.php?f=75&t=423), and I am now on 5.1.24 with no data loss, and stable for the last 24 hours.
It'll be interesting to see if NAS that used to run 4.x will need a system partition size increase to keep following the 5.x releases.

Well I tried it but now after a period of time the NAS just stops responding, no HDD activity, no new messages from the console output via HDMI port.
Looks like I'll have to nuke it and start from scratch as it's no good just stalling.

Re: TOS 5.1.34 (X86) is Released for update
Ok, since I can't create a new topic, I had to hijack this one, which is related anyway:
I have a F5-221 with TOS 4.2.40 with my discs in a RAID5 formatted as EXT4. I am considering moving to TOS5 with the discs formatted as BTRFS with the new TRAID feature.
I basically want to know what is the best way to do it. Should I do a fresh install to this version and wipe the discs (I have already backed everything up) or should I install an older version and update to this one?
I have had a bad experience in the past trying to do this and just want to minimize problems.
Thanks in advance

Definitely my tnas is broken, the reinstallation has not worked, I suspect that there is no more space in the partition and my tnas does not respond. Tnas Pc detects it as "unknown", I have managed to open an SSH session but I don't know how to proceed anymore.
Could someone from the Technical Team tell me how to fix it?
