And how did you solve your issue?
I am having the exact same problem. The circuit breaker tripped while i was updating the firmware for the very first time (first time I started it), now i can't access the system.

Tried to follow the steps of reinstalling the .img firmware, but the TNAS is just ON, and after much more than 15 min it hasn't shut itself down yet as it should, so I am unsure of what to do.

Hey,

So my TOS got bricked after I became a victim of a ransom wear attack. The message I received was that the attackers had targeted all TOS uses because of a security hole. I thought that was a lame excuse to extort money from people.

Of course I didn’t pay, I had other backups and out of principle I would never pay. Now if I try to use my Terramaster F2 210, I just get the same vile message from those very ugly and extremely sad people attempting to extort money from people. This all happened over a year ago, maybe 2 years but it’s been holding my door open since then.

Now that Sonos is no longer allowing the use of SMB from my local computer to read media files, I have to reinstate the TNAS and I’m hoping that this viewtopic.php?t=696 (how to reset the kernel) will do it.

Am I on the right path or am I wasting my time? I spent real dollars on this product and I wasn’t very happy that there was no support for it after a cyber attack.
