FTP user home dir only?

I´ve created an FTP user. But this user can see all thats on my storage. Although this user can only access his folder with corresponding permissions.
By the way I had to delete the user and create again, as permissions to folders wouldnot update (user could access Docker directory for example, tried to change permissions, still accessible)
So is there a way to have the ftp user just end up in his assigned directory and not be able to see anything else? On my Qnap it was the "home dir".
