Gitea or Gitlab in docker container f2 423

Post by vadero9784 »

I want to buy new terramaster NAS model f2 423 with OS "TOS 5"

But i have some questions
1. Can i run gitea or gitlab in docker container (specify static port for http and ssh: 8080 and 8022 example) and persistent volumes)?
2. I see demo TOS 5 page. And i see virtualbox application. Can i install and run windows x64 image from iso in virtualbox application on my NAS?

I read about the technical specifications. I see that the model 423 uses Intel Celeron N5105 on x64 architecture.
So, theoretically, it's just a computer or laptop without big differences
And i think it's possible run task number 1 and 2 without a big problem.

Let me know if this is suitable for my tasks?

Hi,

Got F2-423 with TOS 5.0.166

1. Just installed latest Gitlab 15.3 via docker using this KB (https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/install/dock ... ker-engine)
2. It works smoothly, but consume all available RAM (3,7Gb from 4Gb). So, be ready to buy more RAM )
