I updated the TOS version to the latest release. My TNAS was working fine uop until that point. I started getting lots of long beeps and then a flurry of drive writes. This kept going on until it shut itself off the first time. At first I thought it was an issue with the hard drives so I replaced the entire stack of 3 drives from WD 1.5 TB Enterprise drives to WD Red + NAS drives. Now I can't get past the initialization screen.
I have all green lights and I can hear the drives spin up. After 5 minutes or so, I'll get 1 long beep and it will shut down.
Was my first mistake updating to the latest OS? How can I get this back up and running?

One thing I forgot to mention is once I click on start for initialization, I am sent to a white screen wwith two blocks in the center, a text box below them stating "Tips" and at the bottom of the scren "RTD1296_1327_V4.9.6" is displayed.

There are two white screens in the middle, the upper one is automatic installation and the lower one is manual installation, you choose one and then the next step, until the system is installed.

I was able to get the system re-initialized by removing the battery for a few moments and then putting it back together. I was able to get the system set up, but I'm still plagued with the machine shutting down.

Hello, after the initial judgment, it should be necessary to replace the battery or re-burn the system kernel. Please record a video of the phenomenon after you boot up, and contact our technical support by email for further judgment.
