After "Safe Eject" of USB, operations buttons remain enabled

Post by SunDogBC »

I came across this behaviour while trying to get an external hard drive to work:
  1. Insert flash drive into USB slot
  2. Allow to mount and show as USB1
  3. Click to select the drive
  4. Click button for "Safe Eject"
  5. Click "Confirm"
  6. Wait for "No USB storage device is connected!" message
  7. Click "More" button and click "Permissions"
It greys-out and spins endlessly. The only way to recover is to log off and back in.

When you unplug the USB device, its function buttons may not be refreshed in time. As a result, it has been loading after clicking.
