Anonymous Access SMB File Share

Hi All,
I am trying to get an unauthenticated share setup so I dont get the user / password prompt.

I found this threads viewtopic.php?t=765 but I have tried these things and they have worked (eg changing guest account permissions and re-enabling smb).

VERY new to TOS and TerraMaster so I might be missing something simple.

TOS = 4.2.31
Device = T4-210

Any help appreciated.

You could try deactivating the guest user and turning off SMB, then re-enabling them.
Before accessing the computer, you can clear the access cache of the computer: viewtopic.php?f=77&t=2743
In addition, you need to check whether your computer has enabled the function of guest users to access the LAN share.

Disabled SMB
Disabled Guest
Checked that I couldnt map to drives both ones I have set up and public share.
Re-enabled SMB
Re-enabled Guest
Checked that I could map to drive both ones I have set up and public share and immediately prompted for account details...

I must still be missing something ??

Hi there,

Yes my net use from my accessing computer is empty as already flushed that. I did find some creds and removed however

Net Use still prompts for a user account and creds immediately.

Completely clean installed Windows / connected to the network - cannot login anonymously.
Terramaster support got in touch with me but couldn't help.
Clean new computer from showcase - also can't access. Therefore, it is definitely not in group policies and settings or the system cache. it's not about them. NAS F2-210, bought a couple of days ago
