In my first post i wrote this:
I followed instruction to update tos, and now nas doesn't start. When i reset to factory default tnas restart and never boot up. I waited for about 30 minutes and nothing append. I tried to restart without hd inserted and tnas wont boot up.
I have f2-220. Now what can i do?
So if i can't use the method you told me because my nas doesn't boot up. I only see a green light, nothing else. Consequentially i can't do a screenshot, you would only see everything black

Re: The Brand New TOS 5 Officially Released Today!
The error is now nothing unknown with the volume. During the beta phase I wrote many times that the mount system is completely illogical and why you didn't stick with the old system.
There was no response to this on the forum. So, some folders and symlinks are moved to all disks, which is completely illogical.

TNAS PC 5 worked fine for me.
Windows 11 Home 22H2 22621.160
1. Downloaded TNAS PC 5 (5.0.22) from viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3358
2. Extracted the ZIP
3. Double click the EXE
4. Choose more info > allow anyway "because unverified developer"
5. Double click desktop icon
6. Before application will fully launch, a firewall approval prompts, allow firewall rule
7. App opens and immediately finds my TNAS

Do you have any recent logs for TNAS PC?
If you do there may be a reason listed in those errors you might be able to fix, or if the TNAS PC app has prerequisites. If you do see any, and don't know what they mean, you can post here.

Re: The Brand New TOS 5 Officially Released Today!
I have had partial success with Docker Manager on my F5-221 under TOS 5.
I managed to get it installed and I am able to download images from registry and I can Launch the image and I can input all the correct parameters for the image but when I start the container all I get is a spinning wheel in front of the word configuring...
Exactly the same as the user Authenticate
I have tried several different images that work fine under TOS 4 Docker, but will not work under TOS 5 Docker Manager.
Has anyone managed to successfully run a Container under TOS 5 Docker Manager ???

Thats it I have given up with TOS 5, how on earth Terramaster can call this a released product is beyond me, it is so awful they should be ashamed of it.
I have now gone back to TOS 4.39 at least Docker works. It is not brilliant i.e lacks USB access but I can live with that.

Re: The Brand New TOS 5 Officially Released Today!
Installed TNAS 5.0 on Windows 11 - seems to work finding F5-221 with TOS 4.x
Backed up all Plex media on external drive (just in case) - very slow
Downloaded TOS 5.x via link in this thread
Reset TOS 4.x to factory default settings as per thread
Installed TOS 5.x via custom mode as per instructions (warned about data loss) but no request to format drive
TOS 5.x installed
Superuser configured as per initial setup
TNAS will not find device, then finds device then again can't find device
When found, no option for Access File
Login works via Super User when device found
File Manager finds /Homes directory but unable to locate Plex library files
Apps shows option for newer PLEX but fails to install
Security Isolation is disabled
Attempts to smb into files via Windows 11 at file:\\192.168.50.115 results in Network Error, Windows Cannot Access
Control Panel>Volume showed error
Control Panel>drives showed all drives as healthy
TNAS no longer finds device on network even after rebooting device
Router shows Plex has IP assigned
CMD>PING 192.168.50.115 shows NAS is there
Disabling Win 11 Firewall does not help locate NAS
Can no longer access NAS via TOS on Windows 11

As an addition, tried a suggestion in another post about turning off NAS, pulling drives and powering up. This did result in TNAS finding NAS. Powered off, reinserted drives and managed to login. When I did I found update notification to TOS 5.0.123 which is updating now.
Still can't find previous PLEX library,
Control Panel>Volume> Shows Volume 1 "Volume Corrupted" BTRFS 0 B / 0 B
Error on Plex install is "Operation Failed"
Get the same error when attempting to install other Apps.
TNAS on Windows 11 still won't find device but using a browser to the IP address brings up login screen
