Apps confirmation:

Hello Terramaster support, before I spend time backing up and installing TOS 5.0 can you confirm which apps have been tested on TOS 5.0 and if there are newer versions of those apps available for TOS 5.0 vs TOS 4. For example, the Plex Server for TOS 4.0 is 1.24 yet PLEX states there is a 1.27 for Terramaster.

Also, can you confirm that the long awaited surveillance app for webcam etc is available and functioning? It was promised for over a year now to be fully functioning in TOS 5.0.

Hi,
I have successfully installed TOS 5 on my F5-221 it seems to be working OK except for Docker, now called Docker Manager on TOS 5.

It appears to install but when the Icon appears on Desktop it is blank and not the normal picture of a whale.

When I click on it all I get is a 404 not found error

Is anyone else experiencing this behaviour, and is there a way to get this working.

If you only tell me " it does not work", then I can't help.
You need to tell me which part does work, which step stuck, did you receive any message? do you haven a screenshot for me to troubleshoot?

You can try to disable it and enable it again from the app center.

I have tried to enable Docker in the App Settings but it refuses to start, it has a no entry sign on Status.

I have also tried reinstalling but that didn't work either.

I am at a loss

I think I might have found out what the problem is with Docker not working.

I have now completely restarted my F5-221 from scratch i.e. no TOS 4 at all on any of my 5 drives.

I have found that when you go to make a Storage Pool on the next drive i.e. Drive 2, apart from the drive that has the OS on, the OS creates a Storage Pool numbered 6, when you restart machine that then gets renamed to Storage Pool 2. Then when I create the next Storage Pool on Drive 3 again the OS creates a Storage Pool numbered 6 and when restarted gets renamed to Storage Pool 3. This goes on for all the rest of the drives.

The above is not too much of a problem as all Storage Pools remain numbered in sequential order after the final restart and consequent restarts.

The real problem is with creating Volumes and what happens after a restart with these Volumes.

I created 5 Volumes, 1 on each drive apart from drive 5 where I created 2 Volumes i.e. drive 2 to 5, in sequential order i.e. Volume 2 on Storage Pool 2, Volume 3 on Storage Pool 3 etc., etc.,

Restart the machine and all Volumes are completely out of order, Volume 1 has been moved to Volume 6.

Can TMroy comment on this behaviour
