Why has my drive suddenly changed address overnight? It used to have an IP address ending in xx now it's suddenly xx+1
??
Connecting via the TNAS PC app works but via Apple+K didn't, until I noticed the change of address.
Incidentally it's mucked up some of the Plex info too, but that's another issue.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

Re: F2-220 - drive suddenly changed address
Did you give the tnas a reserved IP address on your router? That's the easiest way to keep the ip address stable.
The router can change an IP address any time it refreshes.

Thanks - I haven’t done that. How do I do that?

It is about the DHCP lease time, please check if your DHCP has been configured properly. I think this article is pretty helpful.
