After deleting files free disk space is not freed
After deleting files free disk space is not freed
Good day! Please advise on the following issue. Model F2-221, TOS version 4.2.28-2201191742, 1 TB disks are in RAID 1, file system is ext4. After deleting files, the files are deleted, but free disk space is not freed. The file manager shows the actual size of the files - about 325 GB. But the TOS system shows that 64 GB is free. And every time the TOS system shows less and less free space on the disks. Thanks for the possible solution to the problem!

Hi!
Do you use snapshots or other synchronization software? Or is there a lot of files in other users' personal folders? If you are sure there are no important files, or you can back up all your important files, then delete the volume and then recreate the volume.

I got the exactly same problem as you and I have also empty all the recycle bins while the disk space doesn't free up.
