This has been happening for a few weeks now.
When I use either Putty or my Mac OS terminal to ssh into the F5-221 NAS, I cannot use backspace. The backspace button creates more spaces.
I was able to temporarily work around this by typing
TERM=XTERM
However, yesterday the machine crashed during an intense Nextcloud sync and turned itself off.
Since I turned it back on, the above command does not help. I cannot make the backspace key work when ssh-ing into it.
Any ideas?

Re: Backspace button not working in SSH
Hi,
Maybe you need to modify the settings of Putty.

Re: Backspace button not working in SSH
I'll give that a try, but what about in Mac OS X terminal?
