[Help] Factory Reset F4-212 [SOLVED]

I did a dumb thing playing around the firewall menu and now I can't access my F4-212 (2GB).

How can I factory reset it to reinstall TOS?

I see some other models have a reset pin hole, but i don't see one on the 212.

You can try the following two methods depending on your firewall rule settings:

1. Direct PC Connection (If you restricted access by IP):

• If you only created an "Allow" rule for a specific IP address or IP range, connect your TNAS directly to your PC using an Ethernet cable.

• Manually configure your PC's network adapter (NIC) with one of the "allowed" IP addresses.

• You should then be able to access the TOS web interface and adjust or disable the firewall rules.

2. Reinstall TOS (If you restricted ports/protocols or forgot the rules):

• If the firewall rule blocks ports/protocols or you cannot recall the exact rule configuration, you will need to reinstall TOS to reset the system settings.

• The 212 series does not support reinstalling TOS via a Reset button or physical Reset pin hole. Please refer to Method B in our official reinstallation guide: viewtopic.php?t=423
