newly configure t4-424 with 2 wd 16tb drives and a 512 nvme ssd. it grabbed the nvme ssd for the traid. is there a way to remove it so I can use it for cache?

new user init nvme added to traid
setting up a F4-424 pro for the first time. added 2 16yb drives and installed a 500mb nvme. the default init process added the nvme ssd drive to the traid. how do I remove the ssd drive from the traid? Do I have to start over the 2 days of formatting?
