Re: Is there ANY way to get decent backups with a F2-210?
If you are wanting to back up files on NAS (reliably), the best I have found is using a desktop PC with some proven 3rd party backup software. As far as 'home' folders are concerned it may be that you have to set up different backups per user to ensure permissions are correct. Sad, isn't it? (But I...

I've had that fix in place since it was first announced. RAM usage usually sits between 20 and 50%, so I don't think that's the cause.TMzethar wrote: ↑17 Jun 2024, 19:08 Maybe it's the gradual increase in RAM capacity that's causing the backup to fail. This may help you:

Is there ANY way to get decent backups with a F2-210?
I've had a F2-210 for about a year, and for every thing that it manages to do right, it still finds new and imaginative ways to disappoint me. Firstly, I'd set up backups of my media (movies, photos and music) to a OneDrive. This worked occasionally, then stopped. It no longer syncs, nor can I set u...

Re: OneDrive sync failing
Thanks for the suggestions so far. The uptime on the NAS is less than a week, and I have the fix in place to restart the msgcenter process. Current RAM usage is around 52%, so that seems okay. I understand the comment about waiting for Terramaster to fix this, but seeing as there's been only 1 updat...

OneDrive sync failing
I've got a F2-210 with the latest OS. I have three OneDrive syncs set up - all using the same connection to the same account. One for music, one for home video, one for photographs. I've realised that quite often, the sync isn't working. I added some music a few days ago, but the logs show the last ...

Re: F2-210 giving "502 Bad Gateway"
Sorry to hear that, is it possible to update automatically? Without updating the certificate then after rebooting the device can you still access the device normally? I can access the device (both the desktop, and SMB shares) on my own network, that's fine. I can't automatically update the *.tnas.l...

Re: F2-210 giving "502 Bad Gateway"
Update to add - I've regained access by performing a TOS update (boot the TNAS with drives removed, add drives, go through setup). All data is there, however the certificate is still expired. TBH it's probably not worth the hassle just to get remote access to the NAS, I might just leave that alone f...

F2-210 giving "502 Bad Gateway"
A month or so ago, I upgraded my F2-210 from 4.2.43 to 4.2.44, using the manual method, as advised on this forum. That seemed to work well, until today, where I noticed that I couldn't set up the Remote Access function. This looked to be because the SSL certificates for tnas.link had reverted to exp...

Re: The RAM usage of F2-210/F4-210 keeps increasing?
I made this change when running TOS 4.2.43 (though noted that the task config file is located in /etc/crontab s /root) Since upgrading to 4.2.44, I've noticed memory seems to be creeping up after a month of uptime - msgcenter is currently taking about 29% of total memory. I checked that the cron fil...

Re: TOS 4.2.44 is Released for Update
As long as you and others are submitting tickets about these issues & they are acknowledging them, there should be point releases to resolve them if they are not directly resolving them case by case with customers. I put a support ticket in about 9 months ago. They did confirm that the issue ex...
