Just wanted to fallow up with this as I finally got it updated to 5.0. This worked on mine maybe others maybe not yours. Step 1. Order a new bootloader drive from Amazon Step 2. No button to reset the device in the system control panel. Plenty of space, like 30tb. The harddrives are good. Any other ideas? I would do it manually if the reset button was there.

Can someone please do a YouTube video on Redoing the OS on these TNAS. Mine has stopped updating (and would not let me update any app or install new ones and I am not technical at all. I would buy a new drive if I could fine the shopping link. I am a plug and play guy.
