Upgrading TOS 4 to TOS 6 for F4-423
Hi, I am having 2 16TB drives configured in RAID 1. I want to upgrade from TOS 4 to TOS 6 but due to the difference in system size, the upgrade cannot be done automatically. What I read is that I need to back up data, then do fresh installation of TOS 6 (which will format my drives). I have no extra...

Re: TOS 6.0.530 Official Version Released
Did you install 6.0.530 on a new SSD? Did you remove 2 HDDs before installation or keep them with the new SSD during installation? System didn't ask me about destination. I believe you has options to choose only in case of "fresh" install, when there is no previous system on a board. As a...

Re: TOS 6.0.530 Official Version Released
I have two HDDs in RAID1. I somehow upgraded from TOS 4.x to 5.1.145 but the system size is still 2Gb from System Info. Now I want to upgrade to TOS 6, however, I don't want to backup data and then format my HDDs. How can I do that? Can I insert a new, empty Nvme SSD and choose to install TOS 6 on ...

Re: TOS 5.0.158 (x.86) is Released for Update
I'm frustrated with constantly updates and each update causes endless problems. I almost have to reconfigure my apps every time so that they can work.

Re: How to add RAM module to TerraMaster NAS
For all interested: I tried two CT16G4SFRA32A from Crucial - working both great in the F4-423. Could you please clarify, there is only one RAM slot in F4-423, why did you use two Crucial RAM? Thank you. I don’t have an F4-423 to double check but photos here seem to suggest there’s 2 slots (one on t...
