Re: TOS broke when leaving USB external plugged in
It is recommended that you format the hard drive and reinstall the TOS5.1.145 system. For specific operations, please refer to this link: https://forum.terra-master.com/en/viewtopic.php?t=423 The TOS system will generally not damage the data when plugged into an external USB, but it is recommended ...

Re: TOS broke when leaving USB external plugged in
I am hoping to plug it back into the NAS for backups and eliminate the Windows computer but I have concerns with TOS breaking again. I have about 15 dockers that I would not want to lose.

Re: TRAID and expanding drives
The first 8TB will not show any expansion of available space. This only occurs with the second and later. The expansion of the first drive is (essentially) expanding the parity drive in preparation for further expansion. But after the second 8TB it should expand and not have to redo the raid with a...

TRAID and expanding drives
I have a 5 bay NAS right now, with 5 4TB drives in TRAID. Looks like TRAID is flexible, if I buy a bigger drive, say one every month to spread out cost, TRAID will adjust and expand, is that correct? So over the course of 6 months I could put replace one 4TB drive with an 8TB drive once a month and ...

TOS Storage
This might get deleted but I'll try.
Does anyone know what happens if the storage that TOS is install on gets wiped all together? Can you reinstall TOS from the "For new TNAS device TOS installation" image that is on the downloads page? Or if it's wiped it's done?
