Thank you! Just found out that Jellyfin which I set up because I couldn't get Emby to work was compromising the listening port, doh!
So Jellyfin is disabled and Emby is now working, mind you I did go into the config and tweaked a few commands.

Just been into ports after trying a shut-down and install the Tarramaster version from the emby site and found that there is no 8096 listening port listed for emby so it seems this is the problem, so how do I configure a port on the F2-423?

Further to this, if I try to get through to the emby server on my F2-423 from another device I get a message that I need to download the latest server update which I have but cannot install on the F2-423?

I have now sent the email to [email protected], and it seems to have gone through.

I removed the attachment but its still refused.

Just tried to send an email to that address and it says the server has not accepted it?

I will do that, another question I have encountered log in problems with Emby on another TM NAS and have been able to solve the issues via text editor but on the F2-423 when entering the config/system XTL I do not have text editor??

OK tried this and all is still the same as before, same 404 error and Emby won't stay enabled.

F2-423 just reinitialised with a pair of SSDs running 6.0.794 to run my film collection, however Emby will not stay enabled and also will not connect to the server keeps returning the 404 error and yes I have been through all the options I can think of and also tried other versions of Emby without s...

The log file says UPnP says it's been enabled, but the box remains deselected?
