Hi everyone, I’ve seen that a new TOS update has just been released. However, it looks like many users are still experiencing issues after installing it. For those of you who own an F6-424 Max, 👉 Has anyone successfully installed this latest update without problems? I’d love to hear your feedback b...

Re: [Help] No Access F6-424Max After TOS 6.0.750 Update – Not Detected on Network
Hi everyone, I’ve decided to go with the reset button method to reinstall TOS without erasing my files. After booting, I now see a screen with a countdown timer, giving me two options: ▶️ Automatic Initialization ⚙️ Custom Initialization I’m not sure which one to choose. Before the issue, I had alre...

Re: [Help] TOS 6.0.750 Cannot Access (WARNING: DO NOT UPDATE)
Thank you very much for this tutorial — it's really helpful! I have a few questions about the HDDs part that caught my attention: When you say not to mix up the order, are you referring to the physical order of the drives from bay 1 to 6? When reinserting the drives, how much time should I wait bet...

Re: [Help] No Access F6-424Max After TOS 6.0.750 Update – Not Detected on Network
You can keep the HDMI and USB connections active. The F6-424 Max reset button does not reset the HDD or the system; instead, it allows users who have installed TOS on an M.2 SSD to also access the initial boot system. (M.2 SSD does not support hot swapping.) Thanks for the clarification. Just to be...

Re: [Help] No Access F6-424Max After TOS 6.0.750 Update – Not Detected on Network
Please check method B if you need to reinstall TOS https://forum.terra-master.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=423 Is the reset button method safer or more reliable than Method B for reinstalling TOS? I’d like to choose the option with the least risk. For your information, TOS is installed on regula...

Re: [Help] No Access F6-424Max After TOS 6.0.750 Update – Not Detected on Network
Hi, sure. This is what I did: Thank you so much for taking the time to share these detailed steps — I really appreciate it! I’ll definitely try to follow your method. The only issue is that I’m not 100% sure what the last IPv4 address of the NAS was… I tried to assign a few different ones manually ...

Re: [Help] No Access F6-424Max After TOS 6.0.750 Update – Not Detected on Network
Hi, I had exactly your situation but I decided to not proceed on reinstall any release. I only resumed the networkd, hostnamed and iptables manually connecting in console via HDMI + keyboard. Now NAS is working but any restart will bring back to the network problem isolation. Thank you for sharing ...

Re: [Help] No Access F6-424Max After TOS 6.0.750 Update – Not Detected on Network
You're right — I probably exaggerated when I mentioned needing to be an engineer. That was more out of frustration than anything else. That said, the damage is done — I'm a TerraMaster customer now, and my priority is simply to find the least painful solution to recover access to my NAS and data. I...

Re: [Help] No Access F6-424Max After TOS 6.0.750 Update – Not Detected on Network
Thank you for the advice regarding which guide to follow — that’s helpful. Yes, my NAS has become “defective” following an official firmware update from TerraMaster, but until just three days ago, it was working perfectly and I was quite satisfied with it. If using a TerraMaster NAS requires engine...
