Re: BTRFS volume fails every reboot, and sometimes randomly.
Huh. It's only Edge that's decided the GUI's unavailable. Safari is connecting fine. I mean, it's not like Microsoft software to be buggy on MacOS (is there a sarcasm emoji?) but yesterday it was fine. Still got the btrfs issue though.

Re: BTRFS volume fails every reboot, and sometimes randomly.
Funny you should say that, this morning the web GUI wasn't reachable but SSH and backups were still working. Restarting nginx didn't help so I rebooted and guess what? /Volume3 has disappeared again. Thankfully I DID back this volume up to an external 4TB USB disk yesterday so I'm highly inclined to...

Re: BTRFS volume fails every reboot, and sometimes randomly.
Having reread my post, I spotted a typo - it should say 'I'm NOW on TOS 6 after reading about btrfs improvements'

BTRFS volume fails every reboot, and sometimes randomly.
Hi folks, My BTRFS experience hasn't been good up to now. I originally started with all BTRFS storage on TOS 5, and one by one they've failed until I have one volume left, and the only reason I've not binned it and remade it as ext4 is because it's 4TB in size. I'm not on TOS 6 after reading about t...

Re: Email reporting doesn't work TOS 6
That was it! Thanks, it was driving me mad that I couldn't select TLS.If you cannot see the authentication method expand the dialogue window until the drop-down remains visible (see last point above).
So, for me it's smtp.gmail.com, port 587, SSL/TLS and an App Password
Cheers

Re: USB disk disappears after creating Storage Pool
OK, now that I know we're just using busybox Linux and I've seen the default partition structure of each disk I've just removed /dev/md1 from the system, formatted /dev/sdc4 with ext4, mounted it as /Volume3 and am rsync-ing the folders of Volume2 I need copied. That'll do. Hopefully this might be o...

Re: USB disk disappears after creating Storage Pool
Is it because they've got the same BLKID I wonder. /dev/md0: UUID="Ns8EZQ-2E4c-lHdg-4qGc-S1DK-JwJc-x2y71S" TYPE="LVM2_member" /dev/md1: UUID="Ns8EZQ-2E4c-lHdg-4qGc-S1DK-JwJc-x2y71S" TYPE="LVM2_member" I see how it works now, since we're using LVM. Assuming the...

USB disk disappears after creating Storage Pool
Hi folks, I must be doing something wrong here. Hardware is a F2-423 with a pair of 8TB drives in Raid1 (not TRAID), latest TOS5 installed. I want to add an external USB disk so I can backup one of the volumes in Storage Pool 1 before I add a 256gb SSD and install TOS6. I have a 4TB drive in a USB3 ...
