Thank you!
I was looking at the wrong snapshot tool (the one in the app panel), I'd forgotten about the one in the backups panel.

How to delete old system snapshot files?
I have a huge number of files (10tb) located in /Volume1/@sysSnapShoot/SystemSnapShot I have verified this by logging into the ssh/telnet and using the DU command. I'm not currently using any of the backup utilities such as Duple or snapshot, although I played with both for a while, and I found the ...

Re: Way to analyze drive space usage?
ok, so using the du tool, the excessive drive space is being tied up in: /Volume1/@sysSnapShoot/SystemSnapShot what's odd is, the usage reported by DU in that folder is larger than my total available drive space. (the folders are blue? compressed?) There is a utility on the TNAS web interface called...

Re: Way to analyze drive space usage?
Thank you.
In the meantime: I've uninstalled all the un-needed backup utilities, but I still have 10G of "other" files that I cannot find or delete.
What is the next step to recover my empty drive space?

Re: Way to analyze drive space usage?
Just for my own edification, is there a way to get more granular information out of that "usage" screen? Something that will tell me what the 10G of data in "other" actually are?

Re: Way to analyze drive space usage?
I don't have snapshots configured, but I did have Duple and some kind of Cloudsync set up for various experiments.
Looking at how long it's taking to uninstall cloudsync, this might be the issue.
Many thanks.

Way to analyze drive space usage?
My drive space usage is higher than I expect... and my manual poking around doesn't show anything unusual. I've got the recycle bin set to empty every week, and I've emptied it manually recently. I have several shares, I don't really want to make a single share that encompasses everything on the dri...

Re: A "pretty" status screen for the HDMI output
TNAS 12-423 The HDMI output shows a pretty useless (to most users) linux text screen. What if it showed a status screen, with some kind of graphics, showing the usage of various resources? That way I could tell from across the room if something was wrong... Can you take a picture of the HDMI screen...
