TOS 7.0.427
Media indexing - ok (created separate shared folder for storing media files, permissions for everyone there, SMB access).
Installation of Multimedia Server - ok.
I don't need transcoding etc, just a simple DLNA server.

Video files stored in several subfolders.
But on my client TV Samsung UE32D6510WS - i can't see that subfolders ("Folders" view - empty).
Only in "All Video" view - i see all files, but without folder structure.

Previously had а custom NAS (xigmanas + minidlna) - no problems at all...

The issue you are experiencing may be caused by the "DLNA server (Multimedia Server) media index database failing to correctly identify or generate the folder view metadata required by your TV."
Please follow these steps to troubleshoot and repair:
Step 1: Rebuild the Media Index
Log in to your TOS Web management interface.
Go to "Control Panel" > "Media Index."
Click the "Rebuild Index" button on the page.
After indexing is complete, go to the Application Center, find the "Multimedia Server" application, click "Stop," wait a moment, and then click "Start" to completely restart the service.
After completing the above steps, exit the DLNA browser on your Samsung TV, search for or refresh the DLNA server again, and then check if the "Folder" view displays correctly.

Step 2: Check and Unify Folder Permissions (If the problem persists after Step 1)
In TOS, go to "Control Panel" > "Shared Folders."
Locate and edit the main shared folder that stores video files.
On the permissions settings page, locate and select the "Replace permissions for all subdirectories with permissions for this folder" option.
Click "Apply" to save the settings.
After unifying permissions, please perform [Step 1: Rebuild Media Index] again to ensure the new permission settings take effect.
