How to manully install this app on TerraMaster application store?

If you’re a self-hosting enthusiast or a NAS power user, you’ve likely encountered the original FileBrowser—the lightweight, "it just works" web interface for your server. But in 2026, there’s a new heavyweight in town: FileBrowser Quantum.

Born as a massive fork of the original project, Quantum is designed to be the "true successor," offering a modern, feature-rich experience that bridges the gap between a simple file manager and a full-blown private cloud like Nextcloud.

What Makes it "Quantum"?

The name isn’t just marketing fluff. The developers describe it as a "Quantum leap" because it packs advanced enterprise-grade features into a tiny, high-performance executable. It maintains the simplicity of the original while adding the depth needed for professional home labs.

Please help. In order for users to download files from my web server over the internet, do I need to install not only this application but also Nginx Proxy Manager?
Without Nginx Proxy Manager, will the site only work on the local network?
I plan to create only one website with video files and archives, and users will be able to download them from the Internet from my T-nas server using a password.
Can you tell me if the built-in web server in TOS7 allows users to download files from the internet from my web server using a password?

I setup mine with nginx and it was straightforward. There's a guide to setup with caddy https://tmnascommunity.eu/2026/03/13/ho ... rse-proxy/

I can't tell for the TOS 7 web server as i didn't update yet

You do not need to install Nginx Proxy Manager or other third-party software; the TOS system has a complete built-in solution that allows users to securely use the file download service. You can try the following two methods:

1. In the TOS Control Panel > Network Services > Remote Access, enable the TNAS.online function. Users can then access TNAS through a browser.

2. Install "Web Server" in the TOS Application Center.
