Does Terramaster F4-425 Plus Play Well With Synology NAS

My home UniFi network (UniFi Cloud Key Gen 2, a UniFi Security Gateway Pro, and a UniFi 48-port PoE switch) includes a Synology RS818RP+ NAS. I intend to use the Synology product to store and archive files and purchase the TerraMaster F4-425 Plus for PLEX media serving and streaming to multiple displays, some concurrently. My ISP provides 1 Gb service with a static IP address. I'm committed to upgrading my internet service to 2.5 Gb upon purchase of the F4-425.

When the time comes to move Blu-Ray rips from the Synology to the TerraMaster, is there a straightforward way to do so?

I've just purchased the Streamfab software bundle to download streams from my streaming platform subscriptions to the TerraMaster. Is this a straightforward process?

Thank You

P.S. The Synology NAS has a projected EOL in 2028, at which time, if I'm still alive (almost 80 years), I'll replace the Synology.

Thank you for choosing TerraMaster!
1. TerraMaster NAS supports standard protocols like SMB. You can also use Rsync for file synchronization, enabling seamless migration and backup between TNAS and Synology.
2. Regarding Streamfab’s PC-only compatibility: we recommend mounting the TNAS share to your PC. You can set this mounted path as your direct download destination, or copy files to it after downloading locally. Both approaches offer excellent speed.
